1963, Turks and Greeks live side by side in Cyprus without any problems. The gum merchant Dereli family, who lead their joyful lives in the idyllic geography of the island, are attacked like other Turkish families with the start of the events known as Bloody Christmas. While family members who are separated from each other are driven from their towns and begin a forced migration, Kemal Dereli, the head of the family, becomes the leader of thousands of Turks on the migration path with his family. As Sruggle for survival in Cyprus continues, Ankaralı, who will turn into a secret hero on the island, is sent from Turkey to change the course of the events in Nicosia. Also, his fiancee, whom he fell apart with, are blended with longing and the struggle for life and this intertwines them with the story of the Dereli family.
